Nugget was sold a few years ago, and at the time we had two fantastic daughters so we thought she could go on to be a solid foundation for another herd. Unfortunately her new home was not able to get her to settle and she remained dry for 3 years. We brought her back home and gave her some TLC to get her hormones back where they need to be. We are happy to report she is settled and expecting to kid in February of 2026.

While she is far from perfect, there are a lot of things we love about Nugget. She is an incredibly wide doe and has always been a heavy milker when we had her previously. Her biggest fault is rear udder attachments, but we have paired her with Comet a buck that has proven to significantly and consistently improve this area in his daughters.
