2016 Ravalli County Fair
Sept. 1 Hamilton MT

Triniy earned Reserve Champion in Jr. Showmanship and her goat Coyote Kidz Buttercup won Best in Breed and Best Doe in Show for the second year in a row! She earned several more blues and helped her litte brother Trenton "Bubba" show in the kiddie goat class.
Trinity did so well this year in 4-H! It was tons of fun seeing all the 4-H'ers and how much Ravalli County Goat project has grown! Thanks to all the volunteers that keep making this program a success.

Central MT Dariy Goat Assocation

July 8 Dutton MT

Thanks so much to Heidi Brandt and Leigh Greyn for putting on this awesome show! It was a long day but super fun and we are so happy with our kids! We can't wait to do it again next year!
We had a good time at the Dutton show! Our girls did ok but we have some improvements to make over the next couple of generations. Our boys did fantastic and that means we are on the right track for breeding in the improvements we want!

June 18, 2016 Reed Point MT

Had a fun day at the Reed Point goat show, we only took 3 over so it was great practice for later! Coyote Kidz Super Nova got first in her age and a Res. Champion Jr. doe! Lily and her daughter Harley Quinn got a couple of 4ths. It was hot toward the end but we made it and are very happy with our girls!

Bozeman Watershed Festival 2016

Coyote Kidz made an appearance at the Watershed festival here in Bozeman to promote the 4-H goat project. Max Rebo loved the attention and the peanut butter treats while the doe’s ate their fill in willow leaves. Folks were able to pet the goats and talk to local 4-H’ers about how goats make great project animals and learn how to get involved with agriculture projects in Gallatin County.

Big Sky Brews & Soft Chevré Blues!

Beer & Cheese pairing workshops for whose with a refined pallet...

One of the best things about Montana is the number of local craft breweries. We have an obsession with good flavor and Bozeman sure dose have it! Many people think wine and cheese is classy but the acidity of most wine overpowers many of the earthy flavors in cheese. Beer shares the many of the same earthy tones and pairs better than most people would imagine. If you want to taste Bozeman MT, we highly recommend the beer and a platter of goat cheese for sure!

Keep an eye out for us at the 2016 ADGA Convention in Austin, Texas. We will have a free beer and cheese pairing workshop with some of the history behind how beer and cheese developed side by side. This will feature many Montana and Texas craft Brews and of course goat cheese!

2015 Ravalli County Fair

4-H Goat Show Hamilton, MT

Congratulations to Trinity Hallock for winning Res.  Jr. Showmansip at the 2015 Ravalli County Fair in Hamilton. She used Coyote Kidz Golden Lily who preformed lovely and went on to do well in Round Robin! Trinity’s doe Coyote Kidz Buttercup also won Grand Champion, Best in Breed Nigerian and Best Udder! Her little brother Bubba was a big help giving directions and making sure the goats all had treats! It was a good day for Coyote Kidz.

2015 Montana State Fair

Great Falls, MT

Eastside Sunny took Grand Champion Nigerian as a 9 year old with 9 freshenings under ADGA judge Kris Fraley. Sunny is a founding doe for Coyote Kidz. We feel very lucky to have started with such an elegant gal like her. She has always kidded easy, milked easy and will be very deserving of her retirement in the fall! We couldn't be more proud to have such an excellent starter doe and look forward to the progress of her many daughters!
